Andy’s musical journey started at a very young age, sitting at the piano with his Nan (a professional musical theatre performer!). Raised in Jersey on an eclectic music diet of the Eagles, Neil Diamond, and Meat Loaf it was at age 11 that Andy decided to take up the drums. Soon after picking up the instrument Andy also took on the guitar, vocals and bass guitar, honing his skills as a multi-instrumentalist.

 

After moving to Bournemouth at age 13, Andy soon formed his own band and began his gigging career playing numerous venues and festivals whilst also touring with other bands and performers. Andy went on to study his Bachelor of Music Degree as a drummer at BIMM in London, which created many new opportunities including recording tracks in some of the country’s top music studios.

 

During the pandemic when musicians couldn’t go out and perform, Andy used his time productively to write and record an album of his own material and later formed his new band, Skinny Knowledge. After receiving accolades in Classic Rock Magazine, Planet Rock, and Kerrang! Andy further expanded his repertoire and joined two successful tribute bands to Foo Fighters and Green Day, performing to thousands across the UK and Europe.
