A multi-instrumentalist from Surrey, Jack developed his passion for music at a young age, taking his first drum lessons at the age of 9. At home, surrounded by the sounds of Motown and Soul, Jack dedicated hours to playing along to the records whilst also discovering old cassette tapes of Jazz legends Miles Davis and Dave Brubeck.

  

In 2016 Jack earned his 1 st Class Honours Degree in Performance at the Academy of Contemporary Music. Whilst there, he studied under the likes of Pete Riley (Guthrie Govan), Frank Tontoh (Amy Winehouse, Jack Bruce) and Toby Drummond (The Seahorses).

 

Following his studies Jack garnered a wealth of performance experience including numerous tours of Europe and UAE with the award-winning Oasis tribute, Oasish. Jack has also extensively toured the French Alps performing with the aptly named Queens of the Snow Stage.

 

Whilst specialising in Drums, Jack is also highly competent on guitar, bass, keyboards and vocals and recently contributed music for the feature length film ‘The Modern Way’ (a period drama based around the 80's Mod Revival). Jack continues to write and record as frontman for his original project Solar Culture and in 2023 also took up drum duties for the established Country Rock outfit Backwoods Creek.
