Phil began playing guitar at the age of six. Self- taught, he began to copy the styles of his idols Albert Lee, Hank Marvin and Brian Setzer.

 

Turning professional after leaving school, Phil soon earned a reputation as one of the most versatile guitarists in the country.

Over the many years of his career, Phil has toured the world with various artistes and shows such as Cliff Bennett & The Rebel Rousers, Sarah Jory, Circus Of Horrors, Dr & The Medics, Rose Marie and many more.

Phil is renowned for his knowledge and musicianship in the music industry. Throughout his professional career he’s garnered a wealth of experience in Stage Performance, Direction and Production, and on a number of occasions has been appointed Musical Director and Sound Engineer.

 

Phil has many achievements in the industry however his most loved art is to play the guitar. With his astonishing abundance of knowledge, feeling and finesse, Phil can produce a sound that will touch the soul. A talent you rarely find.
